2000 has been a very busy year for *NSYNC... On Monday January 24, the video for "Bye Bye Bye" premiered on MTV at the end of Making the Video. Later that week the band paid a visit to Carson Daly on Total Request Live to have their video make it's TRL premiere. On Saturday January 29, *NSYNC appeared on MTV's Total Request Live Superbowl Edition in Atlanta. They competed in a range of football contests and performed "Bye Bye Bye" for the crowd. One week later on Saturday February 5, the band was a part of MTV's Snowed In. They performed "Bye Bye Bye" and another song from their new album and participated in a contest ending with one lucky girl on a date with the guys.

The Grammys

*NSYNC was nominated for the Grammy for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals for "Music of My Heart" with Gloria Estefan and the Grammy for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals for "God Must Have Spent a Little More Time on You" with Alabama. Unfortunately, *NSYNC did not walk away with a Grammy, but there's always next year!

Here's the basics-

October 1999: Business Manager Lou Pearlman reacts with a $150 million breach-of-contract lawsuit against the group
*NSYNC counters with a suit of their own against Pearlman

November 1999: Judge allows *NSYNC to keep its name and release recordings under Jive Records

December 1999: Both suits are settled out of court with *NSYNC remaining with their new record label
