Attitude: sarcastic, cold, shows favoritism (to the Slytherin house, especially to Malfoy)
Strengths: loyal to Dumbledore, patient (he wants the DADA post, but every time he does not get it, he does not resign), can keep a class silent without effort, intelligent, a bit of a mysterious person, clever, ingenious (Hey! He thought of the riddle to protect the Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone)

Misc. Info: Snape is a former Death Eater. He turned to the good side and is now a spy for Dumbledore, which is why Dumbledore trusts him. He hates the Marauders because one of them nearly caused his death by playing a prank on him. But James Potter saved his life. Boy, he can hold a grudge that long! Also, according to Sirius Black, he knew more curses than anyone when he came to Hogwarts, and was sorted as a Slytherin. As for his name origin, J.K. Rowling says that Snape was the name of a town she once visited. Severus is Latin for 'to be severe'. I once saw a book with an interview on J.K. Rowling, and according to the book, Snape's attitude comes from one of her teachers.

Rumors: Some say that Snape may turn good in the later books and save Harry's life. Another rumor is that in book seven, Snape will fall in love. There is also another rumor saying that he was in love with Lily Potter.

Why I like Snape: He's cold and ruthless but he's cool! Aside from that, he is soooo cute!
