Our Goal

The College Prep Program is a partnership between the University of Massachusetts Lowell and Lawrence High School. The program's goal is:

To engage students in a meaningful learning experience so as to enhance their basic skills, critical thinking and social competencies.

To expose the students to the college experience.

To improve the students' chances of competing in a technically advanced society by offering enrichment classes in the areas of Mathmatics, Physical Science, Computer Literacy, and English language arts.

To provide high quality academic program and instructional strategies that address different learning a

To provide a safe environment for learning through reasonable class sizes.

To provide teachers and students adequate curriculum resources.

To promote collaborative relationship among teachers, administrative staff, students and the community.
