The Goddess & Her Babies
During my five year sentence within the confines of a small Mississippi Delta University (far, far away from my hometown, friends, and former way of life),  I slowly evolved and adapted into the specimen I am today. Homesick, and lacking the benefits of a green thumb, I turned to animals as my outlet for my frustration. My landlord, being strict on the type of pet said no fleas, no loud noises, nothing destructive. A snake seemed like a logical choice, and an undying devotion to the plight of reptiles was born.
I often use the soft feminity of lace to contrast with the snakes I handle, especially during lectures.
Here is a more recent photo of me and Alice.
I love taking the snakes out for a "bask" on warm, sunny days.
This is the same snake as featured in the first photograph. As you can tell, he did a great deal of growing in one year.
