blue is the color of my true love
the one that fell from heaven above
he was sweet like honey and sticky like sap
and he came right to me and there he sat
on my shoulder and in my heart
the one from which i could never part
but i was foolish and i was decieved
to think that it would all be such ease
to think that all would be sighs and hugs
to think that that was all there was to love
to think that his deep intense stares were forever
the hardest tie i ever had to sever
but even still i feel his sugar stains
and i wonder if he feels the same...
