Introduction:

Welcome to my website!

The purpose of this site is to provide useful, practical, and often not known information about living in Japan as a foreigner. I moved to Japan when I was only two years old and lived there off and on for a total of 13 years.

Japan is a spectacular place with very many interesting people and places to see. Once you overcome the culture shock and learn a bit about the Japanese culture, I'm sure you will enjoy Japan as much as I did. Good luck!

Picture of cherry blossoms

This is a picture of Japan's beautiful cherry blossoms. The blossoms appear as spring approaches, but don't stay for very long. Japanese thoroughly enjoy Sakura no Hana Mi (Sah-kuu-rah no Hah-nah Me), or "Cherry Blossom Viewing."
