Come and join these sponsors and enjoy the benifits of being part
of the SCCA Rally experience! Sponsorship of this team means
that your name or logo will be seen by a vast number of people,
at a number of different racing events. The events that these
cars will be entered in range from local weekend club races
around the state of Minnesota, to national racing events.
The media coverage at these events can include everything
from from local ne
wspapers
to international television, broadcast around the world. Some
of the events attract large numbers of spectators numbering
in the tens of thousands. Rally in the United States and Canada
is a rapidly growing sport. Every year more and more spectators
are showing up at the events to watch these cars tearing down
country roads and sliding around corners. In Canada, event
officials were expecting 40,000 spectators to attend the Charlevoix
international Rally in October 2000. This event is well on
its way to becoming a stop on the World Rally Championship
in 2002. The Quebec rally, in Quebec City Canada, in January
a special stage runs through the Hippodrome. 7,000 spectators
are there watching. At the STPR rally, in Wellsborough, Pennsylvania
the rally takes over the whole town and everyone comes out
to watch and take part in the event. They line all the cars
up on display in the center of town, with music and a large
barbecue. The people love it. Many local and national companies
are getting involved with the sport of Rallying in the United
States and Canada. With sponsorship they are benefiting from
local newspaper, radio, Magazine and Internet coverage, as
well as national and international Television, such as ESPN2,
TSN, and Speedvision. Company's such as Michelin Tires, Subaru,
Mazda, Hyundai, Sunoco, Fram and many others are now supporting
Rally teams. Rally has long been looked at as a proving ground
for automotive durability. Automotive manufactures help support
rally because it shows their product can stand up to the rough
conditions of rally competition. ProRally competition is an
excellent test of driver endurance, determination, preparation
and teamwork. A car that can finish a rally and be competitive
sets a strong positive image, an image that gets noticed.
The sponsor name and/or logo decal may be placed on the car.
This will be done in a manner that will make the company highly

program which will best suit the needs of their specific advertising
objectives.

the event sanctioning body for car numbers and event sponsors.
This area involves the front half of the drivers and passengers
