Burning under the iron, The sun is setting slowly, Colouring these pages, As the day goes, Traffic still roaring, As it was this morning, The cool breeze today, Has a beautiful calm sway, We don't shiver as we did, When the sun once hid, A grandly seated position, From a roof-top looking down, High above the world, Curled Autumn leaves fly passed, People waiting at the traffic-lights, Only wait for the next change, So they can set free they're boxes, Of plastic and lead, Far away they speed ahead, They're little machines, Full of lifes dreams, We have to claim, This run away day, The warmth of the sunlight beams, The birds in flight, Natures delight, Embrace life, The days are few, Before our hunger, Destroys the view.
