At this point your ePods has been shipped to me...
  1. I will inspect the package as delivered from UPS.  If it looks like it sustained any serious damage I will work with UPS to start the claim process.
  2. I will verify that I have a functional ePods to upgrade by powering it up and trying a few applications.  If it doesn't work, I will try the obvious fixes such as making sure the connectors are seated, etc.  If I can't get it to work, I will return the ePods and the upgrade fee to you.
  3. Upgrade the ePods to an ePods32 and add a DOC disable switch.  I will perform these upgrades as described on the ePods32 web site.
  4. Test the memory and DOC upgrades to verify that everything works.  In the unlikely event that the machine does not work with the upgrades, I will remove the upgrades and retest the machine.  If the machine works with the upgrades removed, I will retry the upgrade with a different set of components.  If it still doesn't work, I will assume that there is something about this particular machine which won't allow it to be upgraded.  If the machine can not be upgraded, I will return your ePods and the upgrade fee.  If the machine doesn't work with the upgrades removed, then I screwed up somewhere.   In this case, at your option, either I keep the upgrade fee and ship you one of my working ePods32 or return your ePods and upgrade fee at my expense.
  5. Package the ePods in the packaging you sent it in and return it to you.  If the packing materials were damaged on the trip to me (i.e. crushed or torn outer box) I will repack it in a different box for the return trip.
  6. I will ship the package back by your UPS method of choice.  If you included a shipping label, I will attach this to the box and give the box to an authorized UPS representative.  If you did not include a return shipping label, I will ship the package back to you using my UPS account with the extra funds you provided.  I will use UPS Ground service if I don't receive any special instructions.  If you did not include enough extra funds to cover the return shipping, I will hold the package until I receive such funds.
  7. I will email you the tracking number so you will know when the package will arrive.
