Wedding Present Hints!
This page contains one of two lists of wedding presents we could give a good home to.

Why two lists ?  Well, for the same reason as we have two weddings, that our focus and attention in life is split I suppose.

See the
modern wedding present hints on this page.
SCA Gift Hints List

New sword[s] for Randy as his beautiful custom rapier was stolen, as was his backsword.
Money for canvas for tent walls.  It will take about 30 metres to put walls on an Easy-Up .
Money for an Easy Up frame [Costco, about $250].
A camp bed.  Four poster would be more than cool.
The type of air mattress inflater that plugs into your car lighter
 Banner poles
Anyone promising to make us a banner when our arms are passed.
The Tudor Tailor book.  Mnnn mnn good.
Fabric, in 8 metre chunks.  Natural fibres: linen, wool, cotton, silk.  Favourite colours are: black, white  for both of us, and for Randy: rich dark brown, deep green, medium khaki green, dark red, tan or beige as well for linen for him.  For me, jewel tones.  Id love a sari of almost any kind I cut them up mercilessly.  Deep purples, deep blues, emerald greens, lilac, rose, metallic gold, metallic silver, dark red, forest green, light willow green, etc.  I am a winter, if that helps.
- Linen from fabrics-store.com, the 3.5 oz white linen deal on 20 yards of IL020.
- We are doing 14th century and 16th century these days, so accessories that go with either are lovely.
-Randy could really use a hard bag/case for storing swords.
 Lantern poles
- Lanterns
A kitchen bench arrangement like Imaignes
Wooden benches that knock down to flat
The wooden TV table side tables.  Not period, but very useful
A modern cloth and pole loveseat so we could sit together [or as together as we can get when I am in Elizabethan!]
The kind of cooler that keeps ice for 5 days would be great
We could use a black leather belt pouch each.
Anyone who wants to make us period shoes. this would be gratefully accepted
Anyone who wants to blackwork any linen for us, it would be gratefully accepted
Period music [sheet music] in tab for Guitar.
Period music on CD; not the dead virgins who died of boredom kind, the happier kind.
Period games.  Id love a hunkerdown set.
- replacement chairs.  The modern cloth and pole ones. Ours are starting to break.
-books on our obsessions: history, warfare, clothing, making artifacts, brewing, illumination, changes in language, music, etc.  We are in the SCA because we love that crazy stuff....
- I'd like a book on lucet cording, and on blackwork patterns.  [I guess some day I need to learn to blackwork or they'll revoke my Elizabethan permit....]

Hope to see you at Sea Lion!

Presents are nice, but the presence of our friends is the best gift.
