Clothworks is on west 16th as I remember has good prices on Egyptian cotton canvas and duck, they also have great price on Sunbrella, the Cadillac canvas, any colour you want. The guy does it part time out of his basement.
This may be a different Clothworks, but they list carrying canvas. Call for pricing.

False Creek Industries. Despite the name, they are located on Laurel near Marine and Cambie in South Vancouver.

Fabrictime
The store is called Fabrictime, and the website is www.fabrictime.com
This place has better-than-decent prices on all weights of canvas from 6oz and up, and even has some laminated canvas of different colours... Or did and can probably still get them. Lots of different colours too.
The last time someone was there was last July, and they had a ton of different weights and widths of canvas, and if I recall correctly, a Lions Gater paid $7.95 a meter for 10' wide 12oz canvas and for 72" 10 oz was $3. They are a warehouse supplier type of business, and you get a deal if you buy over 10meters of any one kind of fabric. They have cotton velvets as well as tons of broadcloth, wool and other assorted SCA type fabric.
