Notre Dame

Construction on the Notre Dame Cathedral began in 1163. It sits on an island on the River Seine in the center of old Paris.

The front of the Cathedral was completed in 1250 and shows a very different style than the gothic design of the earlier rear of the building. The picture on the right shows the amazing details of this beautiful building.

The back of the Cathedral showing the flying buttresses.

A side shot of the many gargoyles that protect the building.

It's plain to see, Dale loves Paris!
