July 13, 2000 - This award was given to the Heartland Community Leaders anonymously by one of the group. Thank you, whoever you are! It was a nice surprise.
June 26, 2000 - I am really proud to say that The Smith Family Cyber-Home has gotten its first award. We are now a Heartland Hallmarks Award Site!
My Site has been "Reviewed" April 29, 2000 - The Heartland Critique and Review should be your first stop before applying for any of the Heartland Awards. Although not strictly an award, this graphic certifies that our site has been reviewed and our theme fits with the Heartland themes of family and hometown values. It also says that we comply with the GeoCities guidelines. The results of our review were complimentary as well and it gave me the courage to apply for the Hallmarks Award.
