| October 11, 2004 Today is 21 weeks! 19 weeks, 136 days to go 'till my due date!!! I'm getting close to weighing a pound now. Just a few ounces to go... and I'm just over 10 inches long. I have developed a pattern of movement now that Mama can pretty much predict... 7AM, 12 noonish, 2:30, and most especially between 10 and 10:30 at night. I'm moving a lot now, but it's much more gentle than Connor's movements were. |
| October 18, 2004 Today is 22 weeks! Time is flying! It feels like we just started the second trimester and we're already on the brink of the third! Just a few weeks of this wonderful trimester to go... Luckily, Mama has been feeling A LOT better these days. It's been about 3 weeks since any sign of morning sickness at all. I'm about 1 pound now and just about 11 inches head to toe. I'm growing my eyelashes and eyebrows this week. Nana is still working on the walls in my room-to-be. They needed some help before Mama can start painting. She decided on a color... "orange sorbet" kind of a creamsicle color. She's anxious to start working on it. Nanny and Nick came to visit this weekend. They brought a lot of cute pink things for me to wear someday! |
| October 4th, 2004 Today is 20 weeks!! Welcome to MONTH FIVE!!! Today, Mama and Daddy went to Dr. Frisoli, the neo-natal specialist, for the 20 week, BiG ultrasound!!!! I'M A GIRL!!!! They saw 10 fingers, 10 little toes, most of my internal organs... I gave them a little wave hello with my tiny little hand. Mama was happy to see it all because I haven't been moving around nearly as much as Connor was, but everything looks JUST RIGHT in here. I weigh about 13 ounces and am measuring just a teeny bit bigger than averave, so they kept my due date the same. YEY! I can't wait for Mama to get started painting my new room! |

| October 8th, 2004 20 weeks + 4 days Mama went to the doctor again today. Mama's blood pressure was 128/75. She has gained 7 pounds this month, a grand total of 11 pounds so far and we're just creeping past the halfway mark. All of the ultrasound results came back great, all is well. Same for the results of the quad screen (which tests for things like Down's and Edward's syndromes). Our next appointment is November 5th. |

| October 25, 2004 Today is 23 weeks! I weigh just over a pound by now and measure about 11 inches from head to toe. I'm moving around pretty regularly now, but continue to be much more gentle to Mama than Connor was. |
