SMEE, like many of the clubs at Monash University is affiliated and supported by Monash Clubs and Societies. There is a link there web page under "links" which is well worth a look.
SMEE also has an unwritten affiliation with the IEE (Institute of Electrical Engineers). Some of the committee are members with the IEE and some are even on the Young Members Section (YMS) of the IEE. It costs about $30 dollars a year to become a member of IEE.
