Here is the '05 Player List you can use to rank/keep track of your players for the draft. Remember all protected players have already been removed from this list.

For some reason I could not just insert the spreadsheet file so you will have to click on the export to Excel button if you are to save it to your pc. I'll email the spreadsheet to everyone also.

Important Note - Not all players are in the Yahoo! game yet so not all players are on the '05 Player List. You can still draft a player that Yahoo! hasn't added to the game.

If you do this your team will start the season without a full roster. If Yahoo! adds him to the game you will have the right to pick him up and put him on your team.

It's possible the player may not make the NHL or it may take Yahoo! longer than expected to add the player to the game. So if you lose patience and decide to fill you empty roster spot with a free agent you then lose all rights to the player you originally drafted. (even if he is added to the game later on)

So. Once you fill your empty roster spot you lose the player you drafted!

Right now an example of this would be Alexander Ovechkin. He is not on the player list, but will most certainly be added during the season.

So drafting players not on the player list is done at your own risk!
