Charles Martinet is the instantly recognizable voice of Mario, the star of Nintendo's flagship franchise. He also voices supporting characters Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Baby Mario, Baby Luigi and Donkey Kong. Working for Nintendo since 1996, Martinet has voiced Mario since his 3-D debut in Super Mario 64, and is one of the unsung heroes in Mario's immense popularity.
Martinet is by no means limited to Mario, however. For instance, he also provided the voice of Fox McCloud in the English version of Star Fox 64 (this being the only time he voiced Fox, as different actors were selected for the sequels). Likewise, he's not restricted to Nintendo, as he voiced the few clips the character Vigoro said in Sega's popular Dreamcast and Gamecube RPG, Skies of Arcadia.
