Battle Mode

Battle Mode is finally payable in single player. There are 2 modes.

Ballon Battle: In this mode you must pop the ballons of the other players and be the last one standing. You start with one ballon and must blow into the mic(or hold Select, but its slower) to inflate more.
Shine Runners: In this mode you must collect shine sprites. The player(s) who has the least at the end of the time is kicked out then the proses continues. The last player standing wins

Pipe Plaze

Nintendo DS
Fight on top of Nintendo's new handheld. Everyonme starts ont the bottom screen but can move to the top. Remember the bottom has more itmes. Good for both modes. TIP: Computers dont go to the top screen much, so you can us this as a hiding place. You can also use it to get the jump on opponents.

Tart Top
Sweet Revenge. This course is big but you can only get items by using the boost on the middle of the course and jump to get them. Good for Shine Runners. TIP: You can put junk on the boost to screw up your opponets, but remember that you have to use it too.

Twilight House
This house is split into 8 rooms(with 3 item boxes each)and an edge outside the house(with 4 item boxes). Just dont fall off the edge of the house. Good for Ballon Battle but not for Shine Runners. TIP: Place junk on the edge where players cant dodge them. You can use the wall to hide behind and give your foes a nasty surprise.

Palm Shore
This beautiful coast is the best place for Shine Runners. The lower areas will fill with water and slow you down. There alot of itmes in the middle. TIP: Since players slow down in the water its prime time to hit thjem with a mushroom boost or shell.

Block Fort
The N64 classic is back! This course will have 4 towers with 2 higher levers each having bridges to the others. Use them as tactical positions. Best course for Ballon Battle. TIP: Place junk on the bridges to screw up opponents. You can also place shells in the bottom. You can also run up or down the towers to escape.

Pipe Plaze
The Gamecube's best cousre is on the DS. You can use the pipe to go to the top and bottom level. Good for Ballon Battle as a fairly good course for Shine Runners. TIP: Use the pipes to escape opponents. Red shells wont go into the pipes.

Tips

If you have a banana or green shell hold it behind you to avoid damage
Mushrooms are your friend. Use them to steal ballons
Place fake boxes near or inside boxes. Just rememer where you put them
In Shine Runners even if your winning dont stop getting shine sprites. You never know what might happen
