How To Play
Welcome. So you want to know how to play Mario Kart DS do yeh? Well your in luck. Here I'll tell you how to play and give you some pointers to make you a true master.

| B | Brake(hold to reverse) |
| X, L | Use Item |
| R | Hop, Hold to drift |
| Y | Change Map |
| Start | Pause |
Firstly, to win you race 3 laps around a track,and try to get 1st. Kinda Obviouse huh? Well theres also Items to sprous things up. Each item does something different, and you have to use them to win. You get different items depending on your rank. For instance, Players in First get Bananas to stop players behind them, while players in 3rd and 4th get Mushrooms to speed up and catch 1st. | Acceration | How long it take the character to reach top speed |
| Top Speed | Fastest speed the character can go |
| Weight | How Heavy the character is. The more weight you have, the more easily you can push foes |
| Handling | Characters handel on the kart. The better it is the easier it is to take turns |
| Drift | The sharpness of the characters drift |
| Items | The liklyness of the character getting better items |
There are two other skills.
Mini Turbos: While drifting press right and left till red sparks come and let go. Go going around courners.
Trailing: (dont know real name)
Drive behind characters to get a burst of speed.
