Banana: these fruit, when driven over make oppenent sip out. You sipmly drop the on them trach, or Holu Up to throw them.Hold X to hold them behind you to block REd shells. TIP:Drop these next to other bananas or in narrow areas.
Triple Banana: These are simply the smae as Bananas but you have 3 at one time. They will trail behind you automaticly. TIP:Keep the behind you, they make a great defence.
Green Shell: This is your standard projectile. Use it to attack ememie from afar. It can also ricochet of wall or be shot behind you(X+Down). TIP: Get good at fireing long didtance. People do it alot on wifi. Also if you fire this behind you, try to in an encoled area.
Triple Green Shell: 3 shells hover around you.
Makes a great defence. TIP: Use these a defence. Also you can ram into foes or shot 3 off to creat a line of shells.
Red Shell: This little bad boy homes onto opponents. It can be shoot backwards but will not not Home. TIP: Pay attantion to what item an opponent may own when firing. Dont fire it at someone who has a Banana.
Triple Red Shell: This is a triple red shell havoc. Just like a triple green shell it hovers around you. TIP: Dont use this as protection. Its to valuable.
Mushroom: This will give you a boost. TIP: Use this to take shortcut. You can also ram into foes
Triple Mushrooms: Just like the Single shroom, but its three. TIP: Use this to take shortcut. You can also ram into foes
Boo: This bad boy make you invisable AND takes an items from an enemy. Best used in Battle mode. TIP: pay attention to who has what, use it to steal a rare item.
Star: This will make you invisable. You'll even move faster and can hurt foes. TIP: use this to go through the dirt and take shortcuts. It also helps to hit opponents.
Fake Box: This looks like a box, but the person who hits this will think otherwise. BEWARE this can not block items TIP: put this next to a cluster of real boxes. XD
Bom-omb: This blows up when someone is close to it. It will be thrown by default, but press X+Down to drop it. TIP: its hard to hit people when thrown but drop this in tight places to deal big damage.
Spikey Shell: Alot of players see this as cheap. This will home in on 1st place and deal big damage.
Blooper: This will spray ink on the screens of the players ahead of you. TIP: if your hit use the bottom screen.
Bullet Bill: This will turn you into a bullet that charges down the middle of the course.
Gold Mushroom: This will let you continuously boost for a set amount of time.
Lightning Bolt: This will shrink all other players slowing them down. The farther behind you are the faster you will get bigger.
