How to get Online

You need to complete a few steps before you can connect.

Finish Nooks jobs
Get your friend code from Cooper.
Trade Friend code with someone.
Open your gate or go out.

Now that you can visit people, here what will effect you

The Mysterious cat can visit you, unless you set it to off.
Villagers can move in or out through wifi.
The lost Kitten can come in.
Letters can come though Nintendo
Bottels can come or be sent out

The Mysterious Cat

If you leave this on the Mysterious cat will come to your town. If you didn't know she doesn't have a face. When she comes over she may have a face someone has drawn. You can make her a new one though. If its good you may see you creation on Nintendowifi.com. Just remember no other special visitor(except K.K. and Redd) will come if she's there.

The Lost Kitten

If you play wifi this lost kitten or her mom may be in your town, and you must reunight them. They will tell you where the other is. The player with the kitten must tell it to come to the gate and go to the other players town. The player will then get a gift. The kitten and mother count as special visitors and and not be stopped from coming.

Emotions

Sometime DR. Shrunk may come to your town. If you talk to this weirdo he'll give you an emotion. This will let you do an action by pressing a button on your chat menu much like the villagers. Remember you can only have 4. Dr. Shrunk is a special visitor

Animal Crossing terms
Native fruit	What fruit starts out in your town
Catalog(Cat.)	To catolog an item. This is where you pick up an item someone has and give it back to add it to your catolog
TT(tt)	Time travel. This is where players change the clock to get to certain events, change items in store, or to get to a different season. Some players who get board with the game time travel for a change of senery. This is a form of cheating.
Deweed	To remove the weed in someone's town. Players who time travel allot will pay others to remove the weeds in there town
debt	the debt on your house. When someone ask how much debt you have left there talking how much $ for next upgrade
Destroying a Town	This is where a player cut down you trees, runs through you flowers, digs up you items(or just makes a lot of holes) and/or gives you the red tulip glitch

Red Tulip Glitch

This is a beta item that you'll get through mail. The sender will either have a lot of symbols or have no name. The letter has no text but come with the red tulip. If you place this in your house you gate maybe shut down and you can not open or exit. If you get it put in the recycle bin. If you drop it in you house you may or may not be affected.

WiFi conduct

Always give someone a greeting
Try not to be vague. Even though the game censors some words its still not appropriate.
Dont take fruit without asking; even if its there native fruit.
Don't insult people town. Constructive criticism is ok
DO NOT destroy another players town. If I find out you WILL PAY!
