ABOUT ME 
My name is Jane Smart and I am situated in Newcastle, just north of Sydney in NSW. I have had a love of animals all my life and in 1991 I purchased an English Springer Spaniel from the Rothley and Burchfield Kennels.My love of showing dogs grew from there and I started to breed under the "Padington" kennel name but changed this year to "Smartpaws".I only had the chance to breed a couple of litters over the years as I had my daughter, who is almost 4 years old and I am also a full time student at the University of Newcastle studying for aBArts (Communications) Degree. I hope to use my Degree to branch into freelance journalism.For the moment, my commitments do not enable me to own or breed any dogs of my own so the idea to start "Smartpaws Pet Services" came to me so that I could still have contact with animals.
