Today is a tour to San Remo, the capital of the Italian Riviera. Our motor coach takes us to the heart of the action -- to the hustle & bustle of an enormous open air market, where you can bargain for excellent (or not) buys in leather bags, belts, gloves, scarves, tablecloths, sweaters, etc. Adjacent is the city farmer's market where you can inspect some of the remarkable edibles that comprise Italian cuisine - needless to say it was very difficult to get Anthony away from the food! Dinner was hosted at the Musee de L'Automobile, Prince Rainer's collection of luxury and classic cars. Restraint was used on Jeff for fear of a bingle!

Skirting along the coast of the Riviera we travel to Antibes, France. Founded as a Greek trading port in the 4C BC, it is now a resort town and fishing port. After a walking tour of the old town, we visit the Picasso Museum which is housed in the magnificent 13th-16th century castle of the Grimaldis, for centuries the rulers of Antibes. The museum has one of the world's finest Picasso collections. Picasso actually occupied the chateau during his most energetic period, filling it with nymphs, fauns, and centaurs. After lunch in Antibes we continue on to Cannes, home of the famous film festival. The lads have great fun checking out the handprints of the entertainment stars posing for a picture with Diana Ross' imprints. Murray seems down trodden that we couldn't find Jerry Lewis' prints.
