| behind Jade with a smirk on her face. Jade stands next to a group of small trees and rare flowers. "How did you get trees in here? Wow, that's wolvesbane. Oh, that's fox fern." he continues to name off what he sees. Gwen inches closer, lifting the shears towards Jade's neck. Alaina goes to yell but can't she's to scared. Jade turns to see the shears almost right in front of his face. "Gwen what are you doing?" Gwen hushes him. "Don't move." she tells him. He freezes. At that moment a snake falls from the tree next to Jade, Gwen catches it in the air severing it's head. The two pieces fall to the ground, Jade looks at Gwen horrified. "What?" she asks. "I've had a snake issue lately. Comes with having a dirt floor in here." she sets the shears down on another table. "So, on to the pantry?" There is a knock at the front door. Gwen turns towards the kitchen. "Alaina? You mind getting that? Sense you're just standing there spying on me." Alaina in a huff turns and walks into the livingroom to answer the door. "I wasn't spying." she wispers to herself. "Yes you were!" Gwen yells from the green-house. "Stay out of my head!" she screams as she opens the door. "What about your head?" Priest asks, standing on the front porch. "Wow, you have a dog!" Alaina bends down to pet chewie. "Who are you?" she asks as she stands back up. "My name is Nicholas Priest. Dective Priest. Is this the perkins residence? I had to ask a couple people to help me find this place." he says staring perfectly forward. Alaina turns and looks behind herself.. "What are you staring at?" he chuckle for a minute. "I'm not staring at anything." he removes his dark sun glasses to reveal his pure white eyes. "I couldn't stare if I wanted to. I'm blind." Alaina bits her lip for a second. "Oh, sorry. So, you want Gwen huh?" he steps into the house. "Yes, thank you." Alaina walks into the kitchen."I'll go get her." Priest takes a step forward bumping into an endtable, knocking down a lamp. He catches it before it hits the ground. He sets it back on the table as Gwen walks into the room. "Mister Priest is it?" Gwen reaches out her hand to shake his, realizing he is blind she pulls her hand back. "You were asking about me?" She helps him to a set. "I must say I have no idea why anyone would want to track me down. What's this about dective?" Priest once again removes his glasses and looks in the direction of Gwen's voice. "I have a few questions about......" He is iterupted by the sound of a phone rining. Gwen stands to answer it. "Will you exuse me?" she walks into the kitchen and find Alaina holding the phone to her ear. "It's Ivy. She says she had a...." Alaina looks over at Priest who is listening to her from the other room. Alaina begins to wisper. "A vision. Of a strange man with dark hair. He was....killing you." Gwen takes the phone from Alaina. "Hello Ivy, tell me exactly what you saw." A few minutes later Gwen re-enters the room with Priest. "Detective something has come up. I have to go." She stands him up and walks him to the door. "So, you should be on your way now." He stops in the doorway. "You know I walk all the way out here for the cafe' in town. And sense you are leaving anyway......do you think you could give me a ride?" Gwen looks back at Alaina, and then towards Priest. "Sure." Down the road a little ways with Priest in the passenger side and his trust dog laying in the back. Gwen begins to speak. "So, where are you from?" he doesn't answer. "I've always lived here. Well pretty much anyway. You know this doesn't have to be a silent ride. You could say something." it goes quiet for a minute. "Pennsylvania." Priest says. "That's were I'm from." Gwen shakes her head. "Nicholas Priest, the Pennsylvanian detective." she smirks and chuckles. "I never gave you my first name miss Perkins." He turns his head towards her. She looks at him as the beads from his arm begin to uncoil and stretch out of his sleeve. "Oh, S***!" she says. She looks back to the road to see a truck infront of her, she turns to hit it. Back at Gwen's. Alaina is showing the box to Jade reading the same news clippings to him. "You see Gwen's a phsyco! And I'm living with her. Oh, God!" she grabs Jade's shoulder. "What if she comes back and then like kills us and buries us in the green-house. What if she's buried people out there before. We could be next! Oh, my God!" Jade looks Alaina in the eyes. "Calm, if Gwen were a killer don't you think she would have killed you already. Instead she's been feeding you and keeping a roof over your head. Not to mention she inrolled you in school." Alaina points a finger a Jade. "The first sign of being pshycotic." Jade sighs. "I give up." he looks down at another clipping. "Alaina. Read this." "Local woman found not guilty of muder........oh." she goes quiet for a minute. "And you thought Gwen was a phsyco." Alaina walks out of the room rolling her eyes. "Silly Jade." Jade picks up the picture of Gwen and the child and sits down infront of the computer. He begins to type in a search. "Audrea Elaine Reed." Gwen comes to to find herself unharmed. "Thank God!" she looks over to see that the detective to her side is severly hurt and unconsious. She leans over to check his breathing, his eyes open. "Don't worry." she says to him. "I'm not going to let you die." she unbuckles him and pulls him out of the van. "Oh my God!" she says as she sees the damage to his body. "Ok, that is part of my dash sticking our of you there. Ouch!" she tries to calm him. "Ok, I can fix this. Just lie still. And I'll...." she bends down and quickly pulls the large plastic piece out of his stomach. "Luckily for you I have the healing touch." she lays her hand ontop of the wound and closes her eyes. She begins to chant to herself.
