*SoCy’s View*
I walked into the kitchen to get something to drink. I ended up sleeping on the couch with Howie. Nobody bothered to wake us up but I didn’t mind too much. I was really starting to like Howie. I mean being a fan of Backstreet he was always my favorite but now that I was actually getting to know them I was falling for him. We just clicked right from the start. It was a dream come true. As I’m walking into the kitchen I see Nick and Mary kissing. That was kinda odd. I mean I knew that they liked each other but when did that happen? I’m like should I speak up or just walk back out. I’m thinking that I’m gonna walk out. I walked back to Howie who was still asleep. I sat were I could see him and the TV so if he woke up he wouldn’t think that I was staring at him and the TV could be my cover up. Rachel then walked downstairs still rubbing her eyes, she had just got up. She walked into the kitchen and walked straight out.
“SoC, did you know about that?” She asked pointing to the kitchen.
“I walked then walked out like you did.”
“I’m confused.” She said.
“When aren’t you confused?” Howie said.
“Your awake?” I asked.
“Yes I am. And so are you. What a wonderful world.” He was still half-asleep. “So what are you confused about?”
“Nick and Mary are in the kitchen kissing.” Rachel said as she lay down on the floor. Rachel was never one to use furniture.
“Really. Did I just hear ya right?” Howie said in disbelief.
“Yes you heard her right.” I said.
“When did this happen?” Howie asked.
“Last night would be the best guess.” I said.
“Hey guys.” Mary said as she walked into the room smiling from ear to ear.
“We’ll I got some good news.” Nick said has he put his arm around Mary.
“We already know.” Howie said.
“How?” Mary asked.
“I walked in on you guys but I decided to walk right back out. And I figured that it was too close just to be friends anymore so I put two and two together.” I said. It looked as though Rachel and Howie went back to sleep.
“Where’s AJ? I have to tell him.” Nick asked.
“Probably still up in Rachel’s room asleep…which is were Rachel should be if she’s gonna sleep.” I wasn’t trying to have her hear me but I knew that she wasn’t fully asleep.
“I ain’t asleep. And where’s Rachel?” AJ asked coming down the stairs looking half-asleep.
“She right down there.” Mary pointed. “And I think she went back to sleep.” AJ lay down next to her and put his arm around her. He nestled up to her and soon went to sleep.
“Somebody got a camera?” Nick asked. “That would make the cutest picture.”
Mary left and got a camera and then came back.
“It’s a good thing we always keep a camera with film around here.” I said. We took a picture of AJ and Rachel curled up on the floor asleep and one of Howie. Cause when Howie sleeps there’s gotta be a picture taken…or so he said. He looked really cute when he was asleep.
“So how did you sleep So’Cy?” Mary asked.
“I can’t complain. How did you sleep?” I questioned.
“Pretty good once Nick joined me.” She turned and smiled at Nick. They were cute together. I turned to Howie and looked at him. I was thinking about the first time I saw him, he was so cute and I’m glad that I didn’t go crazy and was able to talk. That was slightly embarrassing to do that in front of AJ. I had a lot of fun with him on the speedboat.
