After multiple additions and improvements, the hour long Slug Talk now features a UCSC sports scoreboard and calendar, "This week in slug sports history," interviews with Slug athletes and coaches, sports discussion, and in depth interviews with the Monterey Bay Areas most important sports figures.
The KZSC sports team has now grown to include a full cast of talented radio personalities.

-May, 12, 2004: First KZSC Roundtable, discussing the state of UCSC Athletics
-10-8-04, 2004: Slug Talk debuts its new hour-long format
-Winter, 2004: First KSCO "Slug Report" airs on "Good Morning Monterey Bay" on 1080AM.
