Reviews Dev-C++ This is one of the programs I have used for over 5 years. It's called Dev-C++ - its an IDE + Compiler all in one. It's built using Delphi, so if you know Delphi, you change it for yourself. This compiler is the absolute best + its free. Yup, thats right FREE! Right now its version 4.9.9.2 - to compile STKGL I'm using 4.9.8.0. When I made Emula-Menu I used version 4.9.8.0. We have dial-up so I haven't updated it, yet. - There are a lot of DevPaks (Dev-C++ Packages) for various different programming API's such as SDL, DirectX, Allegro, FOX, etc. I highly recommend it if you are planning to do any C or C++ programming. The interface is pretty simple. To include various .a files - they're lib files but with .a extension - you go to Project->Project Options-> its the tab to the right of Compiler - I think its Link or that. Have fun, good luck. Jasc Paintshop Pro I recently tried out this program for 7 days, and it's been quite the good little program. It's a lot like Photoshop, but not as advanced. It has a lot to off though. There are a ton of features. GIMP has the paint using a texture, this has it too. The texture that is the background for this website was made using Jasc Paintshop Pro.
