Sloan Automatic, consisting of Mark Beaver on drums, Bryan Straniero on Bass, Jim Kasper and Jesse Kowalcik on guitar, and Luke Kruse on vocals came together in September of 2001. After several months of playing together which included shows with acts such as Monday Collision and Narcissus, they went their separate ways in the early part of 2002.
With four of the five members now out of high school and involved with work and college, getting back together seemed higly unlikely. However, after an impromtou "renunion show" over Christmas break the band realized that the musical beast known as Sloan Automatic needed to return. Although practices are extremely rare, they boys of Sloan Automatic have already written 2 brand new songs, which are by far the best material the band has written to date. They look forward to bringing their intense live show to the public in Summer 2003.
