400 HORSEPOWER, 4 DOORS, ROOM FOR 5, A TRUNK BIG ENOUGH TO SHOVE IN A CIVIC HATCHBACK, ENOUGH G'S ON THE SKIDPAD TO MAKE YOU PUKE; THE EPITOME OF ENGINEERING:

The M5; 75,000 dollars worth of adrenalin.

The Mini

America doesn't get these, but they are very cool.  First produced sometime in the sixties, england got the first transverse-mounted engines with front wheel drive.  (just like your honda).  There is no frame, the body itself is the frame.  Great engineering, but if you get in an accident you have a 0% survival rate.  It was in production for 30 something years,  and now BMW is designing a new model.  Keep a look out.  (ps- that's my boss and his son on the left, that's me on the right.)

Scooby WRX - the real deal!

MORE PICS

I was wandering the streets of London a couple months back, and i came upon this.  The doors were unlocked, the engine was running, and nobody was in the car.  I began to wonder, Hey, my vacation is almost over anyway, all they can do is deport me. . . . .
