What's been done so far.....(Not a complete list obviously, but just the main bits):
* Front suspension has been fully powder coated. All tie-rods, ball joints etc have been renewed.
* Brakes have been upgraded with XF callipers, all other brake components have also been renewed or overhauled.
* Radiator support panel, front inner guards etc have all been stripped and painted.
* Under-body was stripped and resprayed, as well as a new drivers floor pan welded in.
* Plus the rust removal.....which seems forever on going!
* Various new and used parts also litter the garage: Brand new (old) stock of front and rear indicator lens, Falcon 500 rear seat and door trims, New (old) stock front seat belt stalks, LSD (4 spool) with disc brakes and sway bar, Police lights, Siren and speaker, and last but not least the numerous other small items too many to mention.

PURSUIT ???
Date line December 2007
:
* A while ago I saw a vehicle that would.. make a good Big Bopper replica...........
* While searching eBay one day I came across this little beauty of an XB sedan. It was an all original 3 owner vehicle, with a 6 cylinder, bench seat, column shift auto.
* Even better is the fact that this is a former QLD Police car, still fitted with factory rubber floor mats, sunvisor, rear blinds, sump guard and those very, very rare front quarter glass windows. What better car to replicate the Big Bopper then a real former Police car?!
* However after careful thought and consideration the car will be eventually restored back to its original form as a QLD Police car replica.
*Thanks to Dave Scott in Brisbane who looked at the car for me, which I basically bought sight unseen!
