There are many things which my life revolves around.
SIDS. On July 17th my baby bro died from SIDS. Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. He was only 3 and 1/2 months old. There are 2,500 infants that died a year in the US alone due to SIDS. And 12 a year in Massachusetts. My family just happend to become part of the equation, and statistic.
Alcohol. Alcohol has been an issue in my family as there is history of alcoholism in within it. I have dealt with alcoholics all my life and I see the problems it causes. Anyone who knows me, knows that how I feel about it, and most likely has been givin shit or lectures about it.
Sexuallity. Ya, when you question your identity and sexuality, and you expect the respect from your friends and family..and then you don't get it...I am one to talk to. I had tried to hide it from my family, and although its been said everyone's ok with it...you know, very clerly, its not. So, why hide it? As long as you don't need to flaut it, why hide who you are?
Religion. Well, I have always questioned all religions...and I have chosen to accept different parts of different religions. Wicca, Buddism and Christianity, are a few which I have chosen to take certain parts from. I know that there is something there, and I feel the need to worship it.
Love...well, we all know about this.We understand that there is something powerful, something wonderful, that you can set free upon the world, and it is love.
Music. This completely inundates my soul every waking moment. I have music in my body at all hours of the day. Everything from hard rocking Disturbed to beautiful Maria Callas the opera singer.
Poetry. This stuff rules my life. Without it I would explode. I write to ease my mind, I write to please the audience, I write to free my soul. I love to write, check the link at the top. |
