Tomme and Mapi
What's Up With Those Two???

Often regarded as a gay cult classic for its depiction of half-naked boys in loincloths, Emerald Forest is in fact a highly acclaimed, artistic film, and also one that carries an important message about the environment. Through the following images I will attempt to show that Emerald Forest is indeed a Movie with a Message.

Mapi and Tomme run out of the jungle to search for Tomme's father. Note the savage strength conveyed in Mapi's bare, tattooed chest.

Tomme and Mapi head for the boat. Note how their flexing buttocks convey the impression of speed.

Again, the acting is all in the butt.

A romantic boat ride at sunset.

There they go again, always running off somewhere to be alone!

Mapi and Tomme taking a shower together in a waterfall.

Meanwhile, back at the tribe....
Where are Tomme and Mapi? Have they run off together again??

Oh, there they are, background center: running away from the girls.
Again, we again feel the sense of urgency conveyed in their straining gluteal muscles.
