Slingshot Dakota started basically because jeff, carly, and pat had been friends for many years and through being in different bands around long island that all had some connection with eachother, they decided to get togther and play. A demo was recorded up at suny purchase where pat goes to school. It was sent off to a bunch of places and the nice people at immigrant sun decided to put out a cd. It was mint.
