Chapter 13~Harassed!

   Sabrina boiled with rage. How could this flat breast, not even pretty, and weirdo little bitch get her place that she was suppose to with Huzuko? Sabrina could see clearly in her eyes that Huzuko was all over her, even though Hitomi may not, she totally blamed it all on her. Sabrina burned with rage when she heard Huzuko ask Hitomi worriedly, "Are you okay?" Huzuko's voice was totally filled with admiration and adorness for this "Eye" girl. Sabrina stomped off, the two sorta confused Sally and Sarah followed at her heals. Yukari who was the most surprised of all eyed her ex-bestfriend and tagged after the trio 'S'.

    "Are you sure you are alright?" Huzuko asked worriedly while Hitomi nodded her head vigoriously. "Do you want me to walk you home?" asked a extremely worried to death Huzuko, Hitomi shook her head vigoriously. "You don't know! Sabrina has people! She has guys who'll do anything for her! I'm worried that they may hurt you!" Huzuko said. "It's okay Huzuko, but thanks for your help. I'll be fine on my own, by the way, I don't want people thinking that there is something between us....I'll be alright." Hitomi smiled cheerily at her new good friend as she walked away. Huzuko by the way was extremely dissapointed, "I wanted people to think that there's something between us...so some girls would leave me alone....Hitomi...I...." Huzuko said all this to himself while he watched Hitomi's figure dissapear into the darkening sky.

    Hitomi walked a long the road to her house, she took the short route this time, as she walked pass the mall, a place that brought back millions of memories of Yukari and Hitomi. "Is this for real Yukari? Is it over? Just like that? Just over some guy? Or is there more to it? Why couldn't you talk to me?" Hitomi whispered to herself. Then it suddenly dawned upon Hitomi that she never actually let Yukari have a chance to talk to her. She was always busy feeling sorry for herself. Hitomi felt guilty now, for not realizing that earlier until their friendship has been broken.

    A sudden grief and loss swarmed over Hitomi's heart, she again longed for companionship of the one she loved and adored so long and so much. 'Why must fate be this way?' Hitomi thought as she turned at a corner. She didn't want to go home yet. She headed for the public park, she wanted to look at the stars without hearing her family's busy voices.

    He needed time alone. Away from Allen's busy and lecturing voice, from the voice that can be heard across the hallway...Sarala, and away from the pouncy Merel. He simply just needed time alone. It was dusk after dinner Van told everyone (you know how they get worried, especially Merel) that he wanted a walk in the forest...ALONE. Brek protested but what could he do?

    Van walked into the secret clearing. The one where his parents and Folken's grave lays, and the place where he watched as Hitomi disspeared into the blue sky. Hitomi, the one he loved, the one who he longed to hold, smell, grasp, and never let go. Van jumped on to the big flat rock and layed on his back, he comes here alot when things are bugging him. Everytime he'll think of the same thing : 'Why did I let her go? Why didn't I stay strong and hold her and not let go? Why? WHY? VAN WHY!?'. Van was again contemplating on this question when he suddenly heard a shriek.

    Hitomi was contemplating on her thoughts, 'Why did I let him let me go? Why didn't he stop me? Stupid Hitomi! You were the one who wanted to come back soooo badly! Damn you!' Hitomi cursed herself. She walked over to the beautiful water fountain, she seated herself comfortably on a bench and looked at the beautiful scene around her. Oh! How she wished for him to be seated beside her! How she wished for it to be so!

    She closed her eyes to relax, suddenly hard hands came across her eyes and a hushed voice said quietly yet hauntinly, "Hey babe, pretty girl, ya betta stay 'way from Huzuko, or ya never ganna survive this week....." It was a guy's voice. The guy hurried away, Hitomi didn't even had a chance to see his face for he was all clad in black. She shuddered and inside her mind she screamed.

    Hitomi rushed home, didn't even touch her dinner, slam the door shut, did her homework, etc. She followed her usual routine. She didn't want her parents to freak or something. But deep down in her heart, she was still screaming. She was afraid.

    The next morning, Hitomi was still afraid, she walked to school where Huzuko was waiting at the front door. Hitomi looked around, she saw a guy who was staring at her, she immediantly rushed into the building pretending to not notice Huzuko. But Huzuko didn't know, he rushed behind her, "Hey Hitomi! Is this some kinda game or what? What's wrong?" Hitomi wanted to shouted, "Get the damn hell outa my face, you have caused enough trouble for me!" but she didn't. Instead she just took off to her locker (the one in the girl's room) went to class and didn't even give a glance at the people in the hall ways that were staring at her in awe to ignore the popular Huzuko.

    It was a surprise when the guards announced that Queen Millerna has arrived. It was such a shock that Van dropped his fork on the ground and couldn't gulp down his food. Allen by the way was smirking, he had already known that the Queen was coming and was just keeping it a secret from Van to surprise him.

    "Van! You have grown!" Millerna exclaimed as Van bowed a courtious bow as a young King should. "Yhea yeah....I guess..." Van blushed, Millerna was acting so motherly and he wasn't sure did he like it or not. "Van! What did I tell you about that shirt! For Ghea's sake! Discard it, you are a king now and should wear what a king sould!" I guess Millerna was getting a little to overboard because Merel who by the way was standing beside Millerna, nudged her with her elbow to shut her up, which by the way worked.

    "So, Van, how is everything?" Millerna asked, she didn't really know where to start now, but she still wanted the converstaion going. "Yeah, fine I guess." Van said, he was kinda getting comfortable with this long time no see friend. Suddenly, Van heard it again, a shriek, he have heard it at his family's graveyard and thought it was his imagination, but now! He heard it again!

    She couldn't help it any longer, she wanted to scream! In her mind, she was screaming and screaming, but physcially outside she was just squeasing her eyes shut and trying to control herself from bursting out. She stared at her lunch, she suddenly felt disgusted for no reason, she looked up into the sky but would rather no because all that'll come to her was tears. She hugged knees to her chest and rested her head on her arms. She was surprsied when a voice said, "Hey.....good....job.....goooooood...." It was haunting, Hitomi didn't want to turn around to find out who it was, it'll just make matters even worse. She heard footsteps hurrying away. She let her tears fall freely.

    Hitomi literally jumped up and was ready to run when a hand tapped her shoulder, she turned around, surprised to be face to face with Huzuko. "Hey, Hitomi, may you please explain why you reacted that way this morning when I just said good morning to you?" Hitomi didn't answer, she was afraid, she ran, ran and ran.....never looking back....ran....ran......she was trying to run away from her problems.....but she knew that she would never out run them and that they will always catch up with her. She kept on running, inside, she was screaming......she kept on running.......
