Chapter 14~Together Again?

    Hitomi ran all the way back to her house, afraid. She kept on running, not taking any distractions from the people who looked at her thinking she is some weirdo. She did not see the smirk on Sabrina's face nor did she see the giggling pair of Sally and Shara, nor the half smirk half worried look on Yukari, who were by the way going over to Yukari's house for a sleep over. She kept on running, not wanting to let her fears and problems catch up with her.

    Hitomi tired out soon. She ran in to her house, through the living room where everyone stared at her, through the hallway, then slammed the door shut and collapsed on her cozy and welcoming bed, tears blinded her eyes. Someone knocked on her door. "Hitomi?" It had been a while since mother and daughter talked, "Yes mom?" That was a cue that Mrs. Kanzaki could come in. "Aw, Hitomi, is it him?" Hitomi nodded yes, only her mother understodd, yet it felt odd to tell all her secrets to a mother. Hitomi nodded her head, but that wasn't the only problem that was bothering her, but she didn't want to explain more so she just said, "Yeah mom, I miss him sooooo much!" Hitomi gasped between sobs. She wanted to say more, about the guy who threatened her and everything, but she knew that things were just going to get more complicated. She cried, hugging her mom for support.

    Dinner was served, Millerna chatted on on how everything was fine and that how she had convinced everyone that she didn't want to marry for now and just be Queen. Allen and Millerna weren't attracted to each other no longer, each walked their own way, still Allen supported Millerna through everything for she was his Queen. Millerna by the way, regarded Allen as a brother, both caring for each other deeply, but in a different way from the care of love.

    Van kept on hearing the shrieks and screams throughout dinner. So that was why he couldn't participate in the converstation at dinner. Everyone was worried about him. Van knew that Hitomi was in ditress, oh! How the young king wanted to hold and comfort her!

    Van was so lost in thought that when all was done. Everyone was staring at him, waiting for him to say, "Dinner is over." For he was the host, but he was too lost in thought to realize, all he heard were Hitomi's sign of ditress. It was not until Merel came over and gave him a pinch in the arm did he wake up from his trance.

    "I'm going to Hitomi." Van didn't know how those words even managed to find it's way from his heart to his mouth, but it shocked everyone. Millerna walked over to Van who placed her hands on Van's forhead, "My Lord, are you sure you are okay? A fever perhaps?" Van shooked his head in annoyance, "No! I mean it! I'm going to Hitomi!" Van shouted. Allen only scoffed, "And what? Bring her back here?" "I'm not talking about that! She needs me! She is in distress! I can feel it!!!" The sincerity in Van's brown eyes made everyone believe him, Sarala by the way kept quiet between all this, she could now see how Van loved Hitomi and she didn't want to get in the middle of it. She was just happy that Father allowed her to stay, she loved to play about in the Fanalian Castle and forest! There was so much to expect and so many surprised each and every day.

    Van rushed out of the room and into the shrine where Escaflowne was kept. Allen, Merel, Millerna, Celena, Sarala all ran after him. Van jumped onto his old time friend and loyal guymelef, he placed his hands to Escaflowne's energist compartment, while his other hand grasp the necklace that Hitomi left with him before leaving Ghea. He didn't know would this work, but he was willing to act a little foolish and try it out. To his surprise pink light emitted around him, swallowing and surrounding him, he was so surprised that it had worked that he didn't hear the running steps of Allen, Merel, and Millerna that were running after him.

    After much coaxing, Hitomi finally gave in to her mother and ate some dinner of miso soup and that was it. She went back to her room and collapsed on it, she saw the flyer the school had handed out, about the art contest, "Ah, What the heck, I'll just enter the picture of drew of Van." Hitomi thought out loud. She did her homework and went to bed.

    Van found himself on the track fields where he first met Hitomi. He was soooooooo happy browsing about that he didn't see two figures behind him. When he heard some footsteps he swirled around to come face to face with Allen and Millerna (Merel did not make it because Millerna was so excited that she pushed Merel out of the way). "Uh....What are you guys doing here?" Van asked, confused. "Hey, We aren't going to let you have all the fun! We tagged along by grabbing you in time, then I guess you were so caught up in thought that you didn't even feel it right?" Millerna giggled. Allen by the way was acting all proper for his Queen was there. Allen didn't expect this unproper reaction from Millerna when she slapped him on the butt and said, "Hey, Allen, get a grip! Who do you think I am? Mrs. Proper? Now stop acting all good and everything! It's really bugging me!" Everyone laughed.

    It was dark, Van wanted to find Hitomi right away (of course, he's just that way, wanting to get down to business right now and then) but of course Millerna (a girl...of course) wanted rest and sleep. She was Allen's Queen so Allen agreeded with her (of course). After asking some people (many people make that when the Ghean people go to Earth they cannot communicate with the people over there, except Hitomi, well, I'm not doing that) they finally found a Holiday Inn. They all shared a room and Allen and Van were forced to sleep with each other by Millerna, it was a sleepless night because Van kept tossing and turning and Allen kept on giving him the looks to try to shut him up and stop tossing. Seeing the looks Van make the tossing and turning even worse by literally bouncy up and down the bed, which pissed off Allen so badly that he decided to take a blanket and sleep on the floor....with a weird kind of rug thingy that went all around the room.

    They woke up the next morning by an excited to death Van. They were surprised when Millerna, who was just poking here and there made water come out of a little metal tube. Anyway, they had fun washing up. They went downstairs, when they were about to walk out of the Inn, a employee stopped them, reminding them to pay. Since both were royalties except for Allen, he had to do the servent job. He handed the clerk three gold coins, which shocked the life out of the clerk, "Sir! This is well.....well.." the clerk of lost for words. "Oh! What the heck! It's okay, just take it and I really love this Inn! My lady and lord loves it too." Thus Allen walked back to Millerna and escorted her out of the Inn with people watching with hanging jaws.

    They weren't lost, well at least that's what Van kept on assuring them. He was using the dowsing technique that Hitomi had taught him. They were stopped by a police patrol officer, "Well, guys, I know that you peps like to show your specialities, but this isn't a theater place, the Shakespear theater is five blocks down the road, if I were you, I would go home and change into some decent clothes." This idea was accepted joyously by Millerna, for she is a girl, and all girls love clothes. They stopped in a shop by the street, Millerna went in for clothes, the protesting two males couldn't do anything except follow.

    After alot of fussing from Millerna they got on some decent clothes (Millerna asked the clerk girl). Millerna was wearing the latest fashion outfit. She was wearing a lavender colored V-neck T-shirt and a purple colored silk skirt with flower patterns printed all over it. Millerna loved it soooo much! She a pair of platform shoes. She was so beautiful, especially after the clerk girl applied some make up on her, men around were drooling over her perfect body and lovely face.

    The clerk guy introduced Allen and Van to the latest fashion for men. It was pretty weird, but then sort of cool in a way. Van wore a black T-shirt with a picture in front and back of a dragon, then he got a not so baggy but still sort of baggy pair of blue jeans.Allen was wearing a blue T-shirt with a picture in front and back that said YOU SUCK I RULE in a real kawaii style, then he got the same kind of blue jeans that Van did. Both men then concentrated on what kind of shoes to wear. The clerk guy advised Van to wear a Nickie Air shoes, black with some white here and there. For Allen the clerk guy advisted him to wear the same kind of shoes that Van got. So that was that and they were surprised to feel comfortable in these foreign outfits too.

    When the two males saw Millerna, their jaws immediantly dropped all the way to the ground. She was dazzaling beauitful, especially with some weird stuff she applied on her face. They complimented each other, after paying 5 pieces of gold which the clerk girl and guy's mouths dropped all the way to the floor when they saw real gold. So thus they paid and Van started to dowse again.

    After a few hours they still had not found Hitomi yet. But Van kept on saying that he could detect her and that they were getting closer to wherever she is. So they kept on following Van. It wasn't that boring either because Millerna and Allen had a good time gazing at the foregin scene before them. They ate at a little restuarant and Allen paid him with 5 pieces of gold, because the food was so good. It was afternoon now, Millerna was still having a great time, so was Allen, but Van was getting a little worried. It was not until another two hours when they arrived at a building with boys and girl about Van and Millerna's age, some old and some younger walking in and out. (school was out by then)

    Hitomi was having a miserable day. She had gone to school with people staring at her, she also had to endure the scoffs and smirks from some people, especially the 'SY' gang. She avoided Huzuko totally who tried to talk to her every chance he had, but she was always a step ahead of him.

    Van wondered if Hitomi could be in that building. He kept on dowsing with the pendent. He walked closer and closer to the building, then beside it he saw the track field! The place where they just landed yesterday! He decided to walk into the building, a confused but eager Millerna and Allen followed along quietly.

    Girls and boys gave her disgusting looks, some girls were whispering, they thought Hitomi couldn't hear but no, she heard perfectly well what they were saying. A girl said, "Man! She is suck a pussy! Huzuko is like going after her and all she does is play this dumbass game!" Hitomi wanted to cry, oh, she wanted to, but her pride kept her from doing so. She was standing by her locker, which was pretty close to the entrence of the school building. People were stilling gawking at her. Suddenly she saw two familiar heads bobbing from here to there, she thought she saw long golden hair and a extremely familiar black haired head! Her mind raced. Is it possible? Naw, she thought, impossible.

    Van's mind was racing, "I can fell her!" he said enthusiastically. Millerna started getting all excited while Allen who was trying to keep his composure started to jump up and down, eyes searching. They were in front of the school entrence now. Suddenly the pendent gave a jerk forward, then he saw it clearly, the girl he loved, the girl who he had always wished to hold and grasp and never let go, she was now standing right in front of him! Heads concentrated on her storage place (her locker). Millerna was the first to break the trance with a extremely loud and excited scream which attracted alot of attention, "HITOMI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

That's it! I have written a little to much already! So I stop here now. If I feel like it, I'll write chap 15 today or tomrrow. If not it'll just have to wait till after spring break......unless....someone bribes me...=)......just kidding. Well comments pliz!
