Beautiful Mt. Diablo in Contra Costa County, CA as seen from Highway 24. The East Bay’s highest point, and a stunning landmark that is easily visible from my family’s neighborhood. |

About this Website– I created this website because I wanted to provide a simple way for people to access my professional and educational credentials, and to provide a bit of my personal information as well. To learn more about this website and why I made it, please click here. To learn more about me, please read on! About Me— I recently moved to Chicago, IL, where I will begin my studies in public policy at the University of Chicago. I look forward to expanding my knowledge in multiple fields, although I look forward most to studying economics at one of the world’s premier institutions for matters related to the field. I was born in South Korea, but my adoptive parents raised me in Ann Arbor, MI, which is home to my undergraduate alma matter: the University of Michigan. In 2007 I received my B.A. in Political Science— a concentration that I think has prepared me well for public policy, and perhaps law. Although Ann Arbor has been a wonderful place to live and grow, I think Hyde Park, my new home in Chicago’s south side, will be a great place to live as well. Many of my friends, some of them in Chicago, have embarked on their careers already. I wish all of them the best of luck as they begin living in the “real world”, away from academia. Despite some of the normal urges to be done with school for good, I know that choosing to continue my education is one of the best decisions I could have made at this point in my life. I want to wish the best of luck to everyone who chose to do something similar!
