Welcome to the My Hobbies page. This page contains some of my hobbies as well as some details about them.
I listen to music whenever I have some free time. My favourite music genre is rock (metal), especially gothic rock. I have many favourite bands, such as Nightwish, Within Temptation, Stratovarius and many more. But I also like older music as Scorpions, Deep Purple, Queen and many others. When I need to relax, I listen to Vangelis or J. M. Jarre.
Surfing the Internet is another hobby of mine. I like reading forums to get new information, and I use the net whenever I need to find out more about something. Chatting with my friends via messenger is great, too.
I like to collect stones from all over the world. Of course, most of them are from my home country, but I have some from Greece and Italy, too. I also collect Karl May books, calendars and puzzles.
My most recent hobby is astronomy. I've always liked watching the stars and the planets. Now, I watch them with more knowledge, trying to understand their behaviour. I find optical astronomy interesting, but I most like radio astronomy. I'm looking forward to having my own amateur radio telescope station when I'll get a bit older.
