STOCK CLASSES
Stock General Rules: Sled must have original OEM for the model (or factory designated replacement) engine, hood, carburation, airbox, suspension & clutches for that model. Factory options are not allowed. If it isn't stated that it can be done, consider that it cannot be done.

Engine
: No component of the engine may be altered, changed, reduced or enlarged from the OEM stock specs. Maximun cylinder overbore for wear cannot excede .020 in. No more than one cylinder base gasket to a cylinder.
Drive
: Any combination of springs, weights, ramps, or cams may be used. In Pri. clutch metal may be removed but not added to ramps or weights. Any drive chain or gears may be used.
Ski Suspension
: Limiter strap allowed to limit travel, but with at least 2" travel with driver on sled.
Skis & Runners
: Aftermarket skis allowed.
Track Suspension
: Complete suspension must be used. No suspension options permitted. Limiter strap allowed to limit travel, must maintain 2" travel with driver on. Addtional wheels can be added.
Track & Traction
: Min. height .50 inch. Speed tracks allowed in stock classes.
Frame & Body
: Any chassis alterations, additions or removals which change appearance not allowed. Taping or screening will be restricted to external only.
Lube System: Any envioremently friendly lube system is allowed
Fuel: Any fuel or mixtures can be used
2003 RADAR RUN RULES & CLASSES

Starting this winter, Double D Testing & Racing Tech Crew will be boring & stroking any sleds requested. All sleds will be checked for safety & designated classes at start of event. Sleds will also be checked at starting line if running in Stock & IMP. Stock classes, for any aftermarket parts allowed  in IMP Stock that are not allowed in Stock.
IMP. STOCK CLASSES
IMP STOCK General Rules: Sled must begin as a qualified stock snowmobile. Any alterations allowed in Stock are allowed in IMP Stock. Sled must have original OEM for the model (or factory designated replacement) engine, frame, suspension. Factory options not allowed.

Engine:
Engine may be bored up to class limit. Engine components must retain original OEM for model., but may be modified, provided engine retains its complete external stock appearance. A 1% overbore allowed. OEM stroke must remain the same. Cylinder height may be modified to change port height. Cylinder head may be modified internally. Visible outer portion of cylinder head or cylinder head cover must remain stock appearing.
Engine Components: Components allowable for internal mods. or replacement. 1) Bearings. 2) Rods - Rod center to center must remain the same. 3) Pistons 4) Piston Pins 5) Rings 6) Gaskets 7) Reeds & Reed Blocks - If you do not alter outside dimentions of the cylinder or crankcase. No external mods. may  be made to accommodate reed block change. 8) Carbs. - Carbs. flanges & intake manifold must be OEM. Internal mods. are allowed. No external mod. to crankcase or cylinders. Any additional type of fuel system permitted. 9) Air Box - Mods. to airbox allowed. Can remove aibox. Air filters allowed.10)  Exhaust - Any functionally silenced exhaust allowed. 11) Cooling - Any or all heat exchangers may be relocated, modified or removed.
Drive: Any primary & secondary clutch may be used.
Ski Suspension: Ski suspension & shocks must be OEM for the model & remain in OEM location. Limiter strap allowed to limit travel, but with at least 2" travel with driver on sled.
Skis & Runners: Aftermarket skis allowed.
Track Suspension: Complete suspension must be used. Limiter strap allowed to limit travel, must maintain 2" travel with driver on. Addtional wheels can be added. Track suspension may be moved up or down in tunnel (limit 3"). Any drive sprockets & idler wheels allowed.
Track & Traction: Min. height .50 inch. Speed tracks allowed in IMP stock classes.
Frame & Body: Any chassis alterations, additions or removals which change appearance not allowed. Taping or screening will be restricted to external only.

1000 IMP Class: Only difference from above is: A 5% over class cc allowed (1050cc). Crankshaft may be modified or replaced. Any aftermarket cylinders is allowed, aftermarket cylinders must be commercially available. Outside of aftermarket cylinder may not be modified. If OEM cylinder is modified it must remain within .020 inch per side or .040 inches overall of the OEM cylinder outer shell dimentions. Any commercially available head allowed. Carbs. may be changed. More than 1 OEM type fuel pump will be allowed. Air dams will not be mandatory but requested if you are capable of exceeding 130+MPH.
Lube System: Any envioremently friendly lube system allowed.
For 2003, there will be some new classes added to accommodate all sleds. There will be a 440 IMP class. In the PRO Stock & OPEN classes, there will be 2 new classes. There will be 2 PRO Stock (Full body) & (Lay down) up to 1000cc classes with a 5% over bore allowed, (1050cc max.). There will be 2 OPEN (Full body) & (Lay down) over 1000cc classes. This will make it fair for the riders that trail ride their full body race sleds.

2003 STOCK, IMP STOCK, PRO & OPEN CLASSES
2003 Double D will also have sled parts from all 4 manufactures & Tekvest jackets for rent.
New & used Pri. & Sec. springs, weights & ramps, gears & chains, cams, main & pilot jets. Sled parts can be ordered throught Double D or purchased at the track. There will be safety jackets by Tekvest to rent & try. If a jacket is desired, it can be purchased through Double D. The sled parts & jacket will be rented by the day.
PRO STOCK & OPEN CLASSES
A 5% over bore cc allowed, ( 1050cc) max.
With any sled capable of going 130+MPH, will require an air dam.
New for 2003, these classes will not be allowed to lower front & rear suspensions, trail studs only.
