"After discussion with the Secretary, a location for this year's AGM has been chosen. The 2002 SLBS AGM will be held in the Old Thameside Inn, from 16:00 on Saturday 11th May." - WPR.

Located close to Southwalk Cathedral the inn has a balcany where in good weather you can sit with a pint of real ale watching the boats go by on the River Thames. The inn also serves a variety of good coffee's.

A full size reconstruction of Sir Francis Drake's 16th Century Golden Hinde galleon sits opposite the Old Thameside inn.
