Joseph Stright, son of Lawrence and Margaret Roy Stright, married Mary (Polly) Axtell and had a daughter named "Salina" (Selinah) which he named in his will dated June 11, 1816 as "my only daughter". This Joseph left all his property to her with the right of his wife Polly to use 1/3 of it for herself as long as she remained his widow. He does not name any other children and does not mention his wife as being pregnant at the time he wrote his will which leads me to conclude that this is their only child. His will was probated August 15, 1816. [I sent you a copy of this.] This Joseph and Polly Axtell could not be the parents of George W. Stright born 1840.
