| Day 8: Yellowstone Cody Sheridan | ||||||||||||||||
| Left Yellowstone early in a cold mist. Rode over the spectacular Chief Joseph Highway to Buffalo Bill's town--Cody. Very charming Old West town/tourist trap. Great lunch at Irma Hotel, founded by Buffalo Bill. The day warmed up nicely, and we had a chance to wash the bike, which was becoming quite encrused wtih bugs. Rode over another mountain pass to Sheridan--a totally forgettable town. But the ride was just great. |
