Day 9: Sheridan Spearfish Deadwood Rapid City |

Happy to leave Sheridan, home of crummy hotels and bad food. Crossed into the Black Hills of South Dakota. Great ride down Spearfish Canyon and into the gold mining town of Deadwood. Gambling still a major industry in Deadwood. Prostitution was finally ended in 1980. The ride to our bed and breakfast in the Black Hills near Rapid City was great. We had a surprisingly good dinner in Rapid City at a place called Enigma. . |
