Nice sunny ride across farm country to Rochester, MN. Stopped at Worthington, MD which Stan last visited in 1976 on a service call for Raytheon Medical. Back then, the town had a real western flavor and felt very remote, located as it was in the heart of Jesse James country. Today it's surrounded by strip-mall sprawl and the downtown has been "improved" into anonymity. Too bad.
In Rochester, we stayed with our friends David and Susan Ahlquist, both of the Mayo Clinic. Great conversation, great dinner, great wine.
