Deer vs. Cat


Three weeks after the paint job, I hit a deer and demolished most of the front end. I repaired the damage and kept it all primer until December of '00 when I was run off the road and hit a guardrail. Shortly afterwards, the transmission failed and I decided to sell the car.

You can see the header panel in primer black. Yeah, that was a replacement header panel from the deer.
A few weeks after selling it I found the '88 XR7 in the classifieds and bought it. Information on the XR7 is below.
