A Course in Practical Dermatology held on 8th February 2004 at the SLMA Auditorium was attended by 84 participants and included 10 lectures each of 1/2 hour duration.

The AGM was held to coincide with a Regional Clinical meeting at LRH on 22nd February 2004 by Dr. Jayamini Seneviratne, Consultant Dermatologist, LRH and his team who presented a very interesting collection of Paediatric Dermatological diseases, deserve our congratulation & gratitude.

Monthly lecture held at SLAD office on 24th March 2004. Dr. Indira Kahawita, Senior Registrar in Dermatology Unit, NHSL presented a patient with Paraneoplastic Pemphigus & have a comprehensive account on the topic. Many members felt we should look into the possibility of procuring proper audio-visual equipment for this type of presentation. We urge our members to keep this in mind if you come across any willing donors.

There has been a suggestion for the SLAD  be changed over to a College. Your thoughts & opinions on this issue are very welcome.
