Log In, Log Out - 9 April 2003

STAFF NOTICE:
Due to escalating costs, increased competition and a keen desire to stay in Business
it is necessary to change our terms of employment. It will now be necessary to do
something called work in between the coffee breaks, lunch breaks, tea breaks, smoking
breaks, toilet breaks, etc. It is the management's intention to call this:
THE WORK BREAK

Turtle and I have been doing screenshots of Kathy�s login times for the phone. Kathy will log out whenever she feels like it and never logs back in. She shows up for work at 6:00 am does not log in to the phone. She stays logged out until around 7:30 am. Then, around 11:30 am, she logs out for lunch, but never tells anyone that she is out to lunch. Hehe, �out to lunch�. She never comes back from lunch. Completely logged out until she leaves for the day.

Kathy also decides to stay late and milk the company for overtime when there is no need for her to be here that late. At least it gives me time to work on this website. *snicker*

Kathy's truck has been needing repairs this past week, so her "roommate" (more on that at a later date) has been taking her to work and picking her up. This gives Kathy the perfect excuse to stay really late at work and do nothing. So frustrating! I'm stuck with her for soo much longer than is necessary! She usually leaves around 3:00 pm and I don't leave work until 6:00 pm. That is 5 hours too long already (not including lunch).

Turtlelan1: i didnt know you are sooooooooooooooooooooo bored
Turtlelan1: we gotta talk
Skyzy88: i was bored yesterday afternoon because kathy was here until 5
Turtlelan1: uh
Skyzy88: and there is absolutely no need to have two people here that late
Skyzy88: there isn't enough work that late
Turtlelan1: i know
Skyzy88: so, what are you gonna talk to me about?
Turtlelan1: you being bored
Skyzy88: yeah

So, the other day, I was out sick with a migraine. Or out sick because I didn't feel like coming to work. Whatever. And Turtle and I, we keep screenshots of Kathy being logged out of her phone for forever. You know, to track her and stuff. I don't know why we do it. To get her in trouble maybe? Well, Turtle unknowingly prints out all of her screenshots and Kathy picks them up off the printer! Oh shit! Kathy asks Turtle what they are and Turtle has to come clean. But not yet! Tells her they're nothing.

Finally, Turtle goes in there to talk to Kathy about her logging out problem. Kathy is all "I don't like being lied to" Hey, Kathy, SHUT UP! Kathy defends herself saying that she just forgets to log back in. Well, if you forget so much, then why the hell do you log out in the first place? *SMACK*

Skyzy88: she's thinking of taking her lunch now
Skyzy88: at 1:40
Turtlelan1: whatever
Turtlelan1: she leaves at 3.00
Turtlelan1: she just told me she's out to lunch at 1.46!
Skyzy88: at least she'll be back before she leaves
Turtlelan1: heh, barely
Skyzy88: ...

So, now, Kathy doesn't log out any more since Turtle confronted her. But, that doesn't help matters, because she still doesn't answer her phone and lets it ring over to me. I think she figures if she never tells us when she leaves for lunch, then we'll never know any better. But, not to worry. I know. Trust me.
