My theory is one that not many people have considered. It has to do with the Cobain's live-in nanny, Michael (Cali) Dewitt. Courtney had been friends with Cali for a long time and asked him to come live with them and take care of Frances Bean in Seattle. When Kurt ran away from Exodus and went back to their house in Seattle, Cali was the only one there. We all know now that Kurt and Courtney were going to be divorced and Cali was loyal to Courtney. He wrote a mean note to Kurt which can be found in the book Who Killed Kurt Cobain. Anyway, this is what I think happened: Courtney, in a moment of anger, said something to Cali to the effect of "kill my husband". She didn't really mean it and Cali thought she did, so he went ahead and did it. On the "suicide" note, there is someone else's handwriting, and it looks a lot like Courtney's. I think she wrote things on the note, which was actually a farewell to his fans because Nirvana was breaking up, that made it seem more like a suicde note just to protect Cali. She was obviously upset when he died which is why I think she did't actually want him dead. She may be kinda bitchy but to kill your own daughter's father? That's pretty cold. So, that's what I think, Cali Dewitt, the only person who was in the house when Kurt died, is the one who killed him, probably to impress Courtney. Nothing original, but I believe that the finger should be pointed towards Courtney Love. She sucks ass and if she could offer someone 50k to blow his head off, could have just as well offered someone 100k, 200k?

Ok...HE COMMITTED SUICIDE! Have you fanz heard his lyricz? It tellz it ALL! Ok 1rst of all YES Courtney sure COULD have and probably WOULD have killed him...BUT SHE DIDN'T! He was a HEROIN ADDICT! I mean he didn't like the popularity, he kept to himself...maybe he wanted everyone to think he was murdered...maybe he wanted everyone to look at other ppl and NOT LOOK AT HIM! I am NOT saying that Courtney WOULDN'T have but c'mon! Kurt Cobain felt like crap, why would he wanna live? I mean I suppose thingz were going "down hill" so what would he have to live for? All he cared for waz his daughter.

Kurt Cobain had a lot of pain in his life, I'm not sure why he died, but I do know that he was a sensitive, sad person who should have been taken care of better as a child. There is a lot to learn from Nirvana, manily that you don't have to be some "big" macho man.

I think Kurt Cobain is a selfish prick. He killed himself because fame and fortune wasn't good enough for him. Him being a rock star isn't good enough anymore. Well ok I don't wanna be famous no more so I guess I'll just kill myself! NO! He didn't have to do this. He could've just not been a rock star. He's changed so much in music history and he's missin out so bad. But that's what I think bout him.

My theory is unresearched, but still it is my theory. I think Courtney Love looked into hiring someone, that is why there are all these people saying, oh yes she asked me and all this but I think she didn't hire someone thinking it was too risky and he killed himself anyway. There are all the signs. Kurt Cobain was depressed and felt alone no matter who he had and no matter how much money he had.

I just wanna say that Kurt was a great man and even though it's been quite some time since his death, he is still a legend and hero in my eyes. Right now I'm listening to the Unplugged in NY CD and "Lake of Fire" was just on. I was wondering, is he at the lake or is he in heaven where the angles fly? Hmmmm. Anyways, I think it was suicide that brought Kurt to his death. I feel sorry that he could not find joy in what he did. Well that's all I have to say.

Kurt Cobain is a god. I have no idea who killed him, but it is really a tragedy. I think all Nirvana fans have moved on with bands like Hole, Foo Fighters, and Smashing Pumpkins, but Nirvana is still the best band, and will always the best.

You need to put your anger and rage about his death somewhere else and not on Courtney! The turtles did it! Those vicious!! = P I think Courtney represents a lot of what scares men in our society, a powerful, ambitious, loud woman who does nothing "clean"! She will rock until the end! I hope when Frances grows up, she stands by her mom and will be outraged at all you crazy fans trying to pick her parents apart.
