Suicide: Washington state gun laws are loose.  Kurt's best friend, Dylan Carlson,  purchased a gun for Kurt (sometime before Kurt entered rehab).  Kurt escaped from the Exodus treatment Center in Marina del Ray, California on April 3, 1994. He was found, in his greenhouse dead, by the man who came to his house to install a security system on April 8, 1994.  Kurt had intravenous puncture marks in both of his arms and three times the lethal dose of heroin, which turns to morphine once it enters the body, combined with Valium in his blood.  However, Kurt was found with his shirt sleeves rolled down and buttoned and the heroin "equipment" was found neatly put away in a cigar box lying three feet to the right of Kurt's body.  With that much morphine in his system, "it would have marked a unique event in recorded forensic medical history had Cobain then had the mental clarity and coordination to roll down and button his sleeves, carefully put away his heroin paraphernalia, then pick up and place a Remington 20-gauge semi-automatic Model 11 shotgun in his mouth and discharge it" (Andrew Amirault).  Kurt's shotgun was found loaded with two more bullets.  Furthermore, the shotgun, shotgun shells, and the pen used to write the "suicide note" did not have identifiable fingerprints on them.  Also, handwriting experts around the world concluded that the suicide note had at least twelve major characteristics that were inconsistent with other samples of Kurt's handwriting during that same time period. Also, someone consistently tried to use Kurt's credit cards even after he was declared dead.  Finally, in spring of 1998, David Grohl admitted to Howard Stern on the "Howard Stern Show" that Nirvana was about to break up.  Stern wanted Grohl to state that the murder theory was ludicrous, but Grohl refused to do so.  With a lethal dose of drugs in his system, how could Kurt possilbly have a clear head to put everything away, roll down his sleeve, and shoot himself?  How can the Seattle Police Department (SPD) declare it suicide if there were no identifiable fingerprints on the gun or pen used to write the suicide note, and the note may not even be in his handwriting?  If Kurt had intentions to commit suicide, why would he put more than one bullet in the gun?  What's the deal with the credit cards?  What about David Grohl's refusal to admit Kurt did commit suicide?  Besides, why would he commit suicide if he loved his daughter, Frances Bean, so much? Courtney Love's Motive: Kurt and Courtney had a pre-nuptual agreement which Courtney wanted.  Kurt asked Rosemary Carroll, the Cobains' entertainment attorney, to draw up divorce papers and to remove Courtney from his will.  Courtney heard this and asked Carroll to get the "meanest, most vicious divorce lawyer [she could] find".  If they divorced before the release of Live Through This, she would only get $1 million and future child support.  Courtney hired Tom Grant, Los Angeles private investigator, to find Kurt after he was missing from the Exodus Treatment Center in Marina del Ray, California.  Courtney was in L.A. the week before and up to Kurt's death.  Also, on April 4, 1994, the day after Kurt left the drug rehab center, Courtney told Grant she called in a missing persons report to the SPD claiming to be Kurt's mother, Wendy O'Conner.  Courtney was asked to fly up to Seattle to help find Kurt, but she said "I cant. I have business to take care of."    Furthermore, rock singer, Eldon Hoke, claimed Courtney approached him right before Kurt's death and offered him $50,000 to kill Kurt.  On April 19, 1997, eight days after Hoke revealed his story to Nick Broomfield, the creator of the movie Kurt & Courtney, Hoke was found dead in Riverside, California.  His roommates were at his house in Riverside when he introduced to them some guy as his "new friend."  Hoke and this "new friend" were going to a liquor store and would be back soon.  He never returned, but was found dead and his "new friend" was never seen again.  According to Hoke's friends, the best way to befriend Hoke is to buy him a drink because he was a big alcoholic.  Also, Kurt turned down $9.5 million to headline Lollapalooza '94, and Courtney constantly expressed her anger in front of many people.  In fact, the day after Kurt's death, Courtney gave an interview to Tabitha Soren of MTV.  Finally, Courtney said that Antonio Terry, a Seattle Narcotics Department Detective, might have more information.  On June 4, 1994, two months after Kurt was found dead, Terry became the first SPD officer in nine years to be murdered.  In the book Queen of Noise, a biography of Courtney Love, by Melissa Rossi, Courtney quotes that she felt "responsible for his [dectective's] death".  If Courtney was so concerned about Kurt missing, why wouldn't she use her own name to file the missing persons report?  Why didn't she go to Seattle to find her own husband?  Why are there so many deaths of people directly connected to Kurt's death if it was just a "suicide"?  How could she do an interview the day after her husband, whom she loved so much, died?  Why would Kurt commit suicide if he was filing for divorce and agreed to pay child support?

Courtney Love and Dylan Carlson's Conspiracy: Dylan Carlson, Kurt's best friend who said he did not consider Kurt suicidal, was asked by Courtney to go with Tom Grant to find Kurt.  According to Grant, Courtney called Carlson from L.A. and said to "make sure and check the greenhouse".  Carlson did not check the greenhouse nor did he mention its existence to Grant when they first checked the Cobain residence.  On April 8, 1994, Carlson and Grant heard on the radio that Kurt's body had been found in the greenhouse.  Grant said that Carlson showed "no reaction".  So Grant asked Carlson why they never looked in the greenhouse.  Carlson replied by stating that it was "just a dirty gross little room" where Kurt and Courtney "[kept] lumber in there or something".  It turns out that the room measures 19'x23'!!  [That's not a small room.]  Finally,  in a May 11, 1994 article in The Seattle Times, Dylan Carlson stated that he did not even know that there was a greenhouse on the Cobains' residence.  Why would Courtney tell Carlson specifically to check the greenhouse?  How could he not know his best friend's house had a greenhouse, especially after being told to check it?  If he didn't know about it, how come he had "no reaction"?  Why does he tell Grant one thing and then change the story?  Was he afraid of being the next target?

David Grohl's Ambition: Foo Fighter's self-titled debut album was released in 1995, the following year of Kurt's death, on Roswell Records.  In the credits, the date of recording is October 17 - 23, 1994.   Kurt's death is on April 4, 1994. Dave Grohl recorded all the parts himself for the debut album.  The question is why did Dave feel a need to put the recording date?  Is it possible that he actual;ly recorded Foo Fighters while Nirvana was still together and knew Kurt was goinjg to die?  Or is it possible that he killed or hired someone to kill Kurt, and put the date six months after Kurt died as a show of reverence for a cover-up?  Furthermore, according to the lyrics of the song "Alone + Easy Target" on Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl is referring to himself as the alone and easy target.  Or is he referring to Kurt?  Also, in the song "I'll Stick Around" on the same album is rumored to refer to Courtney's relationship with Kurt. In the song, Dave says "I had no hand in your ever desperate plan."  So if he recorded this album before Kurt died, then could he have known that Kurt was going to die, even though he does not think Courtney had anything to do with it?  Also, if Grohl did know that Nirvana was going to break up, isn't it logical to think that he would have started recording a new album prior to Kurt's death? Why didn't David Grohl release his record with David Geffen Company (Geffen Records), the company that released Nirvana records? [Chris Novoselic's band Sweet 75 signed with Geffen.]  Why would he admit on the "Howard Stern Show" that he believes Kurt could have been murdered?  Lyrics

David Grohl and Courtney Love's Conspiracy: Same motives and ambitions as listed above, but Dave and Courtney possibly worked together or hired someone to kill Kurt.  Courtney did personally thank David Grohl on Live Through This album, but she did not personally mention Kurt's name.  [Kurt mentions Courtney's name on In Utero album.]  Is it because the rumor is that Kurt wrote the songs for Live Through This?  Is it possible Courtney had developed a non-sexual "conspired friendship" with David to kill Kurt?

Gavin Rossdale's Admiration: Lead singer/founder of Bush, Gavin Rossdale, has been known to mimic Kurt.  He said he greatly admires Kurt.  [Who doesn't?]  Gavin said his song "Little Things" on Sixteen Stone album was a blueprint of "Smells Like Teen Spirit."  Also, Bush's song "Greedy Fly" on Razorblade Suitcase album mimics Kurt's song [again] "Floyd the Barber" on Nirvana's debut album Bleach.  Furthermore, Gavin complained about having cronic stomach pain which Kurt also had [the reason Kurt gave for shooting up heroin.]  Not only did Gavin want to be Kurt, but he also wanted to "do" Courtney.  He went up to her at some club, and she blew him off.  Did Gavin want to be like Kurt so much that he was willing to kill Kurt?  Bush became big after Kurt's death.  Is it possible that Gavin killed or hired someone to kill Kurt at the right time so he could say that he admired Kurt?

Billy Corgan's Obsession: Billy Corgan, lead singer/founder of Smashing Pumpkins, and Courtney dated and she dumped him [more than once] for Kurt.  Here's what happened.  Courtney and Billy dated.  Kurt met Courtney, Courtney dumped Billy, and Kurt and Courtney dated for a short time.  Meanwhile, Billy went back to his long-term girlfriend.  Then, Kurt dumped Courtney, she took Billy back, so Billy dumped his girlfriend. Then, Courtney gave Dave Grohl a heart-shaped box to give to Kurt.  [Yes, the song is about Courtney.]  Kurt was so touched that he took Courtney back, so Courtney dumps Billy again.  Courtney gets pregnant and Kurt and Courtney get married.  Meanwhile, Billy goes back to his long-term girlfriend and marries her.  When Courtney wanted Billy to be a part of Celebrity Skin album, Billy divorces his wife, coincidentally, at the same time.  [He must have misunderstood what Courtney wanted.]  Is it possible that Billy was so obsessed or infatuated with Courtney that he killed or hired someone to kill Kurt?

United States Government's Motive: During the George Bush Administration (1988 - 1992), the "War on Drugs" proposal came into affect.  More and more kids began using heavy dosages of hardcore drugs [heroin, crack/cocaine, etc.]  Nirvana released their sophomore album Nevermind in 1991 and became commercialized in fall 1991 with "Smells Like Teen Spirit".  Kurt's drug use became a big influence on kids since Nirvana was so big and influential at this time.  Was the government possibly threatened by Kurt's influence that they would kill him?  How far were they willing to go with their "War on Drugs"?  Why isn't SPD investigating Kurt's death when there is substantial evidencne pointing towards homicide?  Were they trying to frame or threaten Courtney?  Did the government want Kurt's death to be mysterious so that it wouldn't point back to them with all these loopholes and possibilities?

Crazy Fan(s): Kurt had many, many fans.  Even after his death, there were several "copycat suicides".  Could any one of these fans who committed suicide have possilby killed Kurt, and then decided to take his/her/ their own life?  Could they have been stalkers?  Or could this crazy fan(s) still be alive today?

Jealous Artist(s) or People: Grunge hit it big with Nirvana and dominated the music scene by 1994.  The big "hair bands" of the 1980s were worn out and faded away.  Could a jealous artist(s) or people who like this type of music have possibly killed or hired someone to kill Kurt to get the music scene back to where it was?  Even if they did with this motive, they failed, because "hair bands" are still not!!
