The model 1 Pacification Collar is a slave collar
that can be used either to mentally condition or
simply contain a victim. It is powered by Kryptonite
but should not be considered a Kryptonian only
restraint device.
The material of the collar is a single molecular
thread around which has been woven highly advanced
ether-tronic circuitry. Depending on how long the
collar is around the victims neck it can either
restrain a victim physically or (with external
equipment) modify a victims mental processes.
The restraining part of the collar is an active
pulse generator that jams signals going from the brain
to the arms, legs or vocal cords. Three switches to
the left of the data jack control this part of the
collar. The first will stop the victim from using
his/her legs, the second will stop him/her from using
him/her arms and the third will paralyze the victims
vocal cords.
The victim can also be made either semi or fully
unconscious by the use of the slider switch. Located
to the right of the power cell, the slider switch will
cause a pulse to be injected into the victim's brain
that will stimulate sleep. The meter under the slider
switch will register mental activity.
To mentally condition or "brainwash" a victim the
collar needs to be on him/her for at least a week.
During that time the brain is scanned and thoroughly
mapped out. A connection to a computer running the
appropriate software (Will Crusher 3.5 is recommended
for Windows users, Mind Basher 2.5 for Mac users,
Insanity Author 6.66 for Linux users) can then be made
to the collars data input jack and mental adjustment
started.
The interior of the collar is coated with high
quality anti-chafing foam and the collar itself is
waterproof. The buckle of the collar is titanium
steel and has an electro-shock mechanism in case of
forced removal. The locking device can be either a
key or a voice pattern recorded code word. The power
cell is good for five years.
