General Information
Trapshooting affords participants the unique opportunity to compete both individually and as a team against many other Nebraska high schools.

Students of all capabilities are able to compete, practice and learn about shooting sports in a well-organized and safe program.  Both experienced and novice shooters are welcome to participate.

The season starts with organized practice in January and concludes with the State Championship the first week of May.  Practice sessions are generally held 2 to 3 times per week throughout the season. 

A Record of Success!
Since its beginnings, the SkyHawk Trap Team has obtained many achievements both at regular conference meets and the State Championship.  Many current and past SkyHawk Trap shooters have used their acuired skills to successfully participate and often win in other competitive shoots such as those held by the Amateur Trapshooting Association of America (ATA).  For information about the ATA and other shooting opportunites click
